ICANN Accredited Domain Registrar Launches Dedicated Hosting Server, Domain Registration Service

Limelabs, an accredited domain registrar by the Internet Corporation for Assigned Names and Numbers (ICANN), announced on Monday that it has launched a managed hosting server and domain registration service called LimeDomains.

Following the accreditation by ICANN, LimeDomains can now offer a wide variety of hosting solutions which ranges from full-featured websites to priced premium hosting plans that has more bandwidth, space and ability to manage and host several websites and domains under a single account.

LimeLabs founder Mark Gorton said that LimeDomains make it easier for clients to run powerful websites quickly without investing too much time and effort. He added that the new service gives free hosting and application installation which the clients will truly appreciate since it is commensurate with the rates they are paying.

All of the LimeDomains accounts have access to a variety of open source online applications which range from content management systems such as Joomla and Drupal and popular blogging platforms such as Wordpress.

Users can upload own files or even transfer their websites to LimeDomains by a file manager that’s already built-in in the system or other file transfer protocol (FTP) clients. Web design applications, such as Adobe Dreamweaver, are supported by the system.

LimeLabds VP Marketing and Business Development John Enright said that they are excited to become the first company in the market with a full-featured free website solution that has proven credibility. He stressed that this is just a beginning.
