Food and Drink Festival in Brighton
As Septemeber 2009 begins it brings with it the welcome beginnings of the Brighton and Hove Food and Drink Festival. The festival is a celebration of the best of food and drink on offerin Sussex Last year over 50,000 people enjoyed the vast array of displays, stalls and opportunities to sample and explore East Sussex produce. This year an even greater number of people are expected -attracted to the excellent reports of previous festivals – as well as the exciting new ideas the organisers have brought to the 2009 event. in addition to displaying local produce covering fruit, vegetables, meat, cheeses, wines, etc etc for 2009 they are in addition theconcept of ‘Open House Dining’ – an event where people host tv style ‘Come Dine With Me’ spectaclesin their own home.
