This Is How My Mother Helped Me to Seek the Perfect Wig
Perhaps due to my proud spirit,
I had not planned my style would rest on well-constructed human hair wigs for fashion. So when things seem complicated, I sometimes think of my mother fixing her iconic honeycomb hair, which looked like a pile of wigs, on the way to school. Throughout her life, her hair quite magically never failing as a glowing blonde aura, and she knew how to make it bounce. Mom could suppress its powers, woman or man. A matriarch has little need for wigs. Being young, this made me think about how I would be just as beautiful with my head of hair.
But, things have a way of being different than those you dreamed of as a young girl. Wigs are now a part of daily routine, and I depend upon the look they give me! You see… Of late I would find clumps of hair in the sink. The problem was medical hair loss from alopecia. My doctor thoughtfully advised I look at lace front wigs. Instead, my initial coping instinct to make things get better was to cry and call my mom, Nancy.
I imagined this might not go well, due to the fact of my mother’s life-long hair of perfection especially when it comes to hair styles. I accept how she cares for her hair, however the grass is always fresher on the other side. I phoned her up shopping for
wigs for women’s hair loss with me. However, I lied a bit and didn’t reveal my medical hair loss. I pretended that we were just taking pleasure in a great day on the town.
When our drinks arrived I started to cry and told her why I wanted to see her about my need for wigs. I felt a bit ashamed, but low and behold my mother broke down and said things like this happen, and even happened to her! After that my mother made it her goal to find me true human hair wig that would suit me best. You can’t imagine that other various people had the same problem. A great amount of websites comforted me to start caring about my looks again.
Being an independent woman and writing in my journal became my way of living each time I look in the mirror. Being who you are is the key and there’s no denying it whenever you let hair loss get you down, don’t.
