Dateless Me, Seeking Singles Events in North Dallas
Not that I don’t like to admit it, but I didn’t always have Great Expectations for my dating life. Get this, last night I broke my resolution and smoked two packs of cigarettes. As a coping mechanism of loneliness, of course. Don’t judge me (j/k!). Am I crazy? Well, that’s when I honestly looked into finding a date in my area.
Nothing that can’t be fixed. I’ll ease back into dating thru a matchmaking service like Great Expectations Dallas. Definitely never sounded better. Why do I bring it up? When I was a little tipsy at little Brent’s Easter egg hunt at Oak Park this afternoon, my sister started bothering me if I have settled down with the love of my life. At first I didn’t know what to say to that. I didn’t want to answer, but then laughed, “what’s your deal, yo?”
There’s nowhere to hide when The Old Tooter (aka: grandpa) kept pressing me about marriage. I said to the whole group: “I’ll be fine, I’ll never find a gorgeous single woman hanging out with you.”
You know what? They all laughed at me. Immediately, I rang Margaret so I could clear my head. I still have no idea what to do! I would have learned more by asking my son. Chuck, who was a fellow Ram in high school (go Rams!) advised that I sign up for Great Expectations. I said, “Sure, whatever.” See, everything always works out. I will never regret joining this Dallas dating service.
Early on, meeting new singles through dating services was a novel thing as I am a simple guy. I was a bit nervous at first, that I spilled a glass of wine on my blazer. My slip up did not stop a great time. The evening was a great way to start at Great Expectations. The truth is I’ll never forget all the attractive, single women.
Appearing at these amazing Great Expectations Denver singles events, I met a handful of marvelous guys and gals that obviously feel as excited as I am which made for a magnificent singles event. Now I can stop letting anyone get on my back about me not dating. Awesomely enough, mingling the Great Expectations way is a lot of fun and just what I’ve been looking for.
